For anyone thinking of booking a trip with Mattias, I hope you find my recommendation of interest
I have know Mattias for 5 years, I first met him in Trinidad when we were all doing the final jobs on our boats before leaving to cross the Pacific. The first thing that struck me was his fantastic disposition, I approached his boat as we were doing some diesel runs and wanted to know if he was also refuelling. He invited me on board for a beer and 3 hours later we were still chatting.
As a seaman, I have sailed in his company extensively. He is an extremely responsible captain and would never put his boat or crew at risk. He was continually upgrading systems to ensure the boat was in pristine condition both functionally and cosmetically. We covered over 10,000 ocean miles together and shared countless memories. But what has always struck me the most is the happy welcoming face Mattias always gave when meeting new people, whether locals or fellow sailors.
For a safe fantastic charter holiday I could not recommend anyone more than Mattias
